This recipe can be used for dieting to get lean (carb-free version) or off-season when adding mass (carb version).

 2lbs 96/4 ground beef if watching fat content - 90/10 if wanting more fat involved

4 Carrots, chopped

4 Celery stalks, chopped

1 medium onion, diced

32 oz carton of Beef Stock

14.5oz can of Diced Tomatoes

Starch of choice - 16 oz diced potato or 2 cups of jasmine rice (amount varies to your liking)

Salt and Pepper to your liking


Brown the ground beef and onions in a pot or dutch oven on the stove. Drain      fat.
Add diced tomatoes and beef broth.

Bring to a boil

Add in potatoes, carrots and celery

Simmer until vegetables are tender (30-40 minutes)

Salt and pepper to taste
